One story of an ordinary woman

I'm sure you will agree that the Internet has come in our lives unexpectedly and changed them considerably.

To my mind my friend Kate will be a good example to prove this fact. First of all I'd like to say that she is a very interesting, easy-going and pleasant person to deal with who is sure that "movement - is life". She never seats at one place. She really values her precious time, that's why the Internet is the main source of information and news for her, because she has an opportunity to select news she wants to know. She communicates on the Internet with people who have the same hobby as she (she adores walking tours). And owing to the Internet she found a man who has become her husband; to cut a long story short one she was looking through LavaLife dating review and found a man she really wanted to chat with but at that moment she couldn't even imagine that in two years he would become her husband! So she often says that the Internet has changed and enriched her life! 

In summer Kate spends a great part of her holidays in walking tours. She, her husband and some their acquaintances who have the same hobby go to explore forests, spend evenings near beautiful lakes and climb mountains. 

But not long ago I learnt how much money my friend spends on her hobby and I was shocked! Every summer she buys new shoes for her walking tours. But besides comfortable shoes she needs a practical handbag. She says that such a bag should be light and not very large but at the same time roomy. Kate needs comfortable and practical lingerie as well. And as far as lingerie is concerned she also prefers to buy sleepwear cheap on the Internet (she even has a special list with such sites). Ability to buy all necessary things on the Internet and to save a lot of time and some money is another reason why my friend can hardly imagine her life without the Internet. 

But it's not all! In her walking tours Kate also needs different creams to protect her face, arms and other parts of her body against the sun because she often gets burned. And she needs to care about her nails as well, they usually become fragile owing to her hobby, that's why she also has a list of sites where one can find nail care discounts; she has a site where they usually organize women cleanser sale.

As my friend says the Internet has changed for her traditional shops and now she buys there only food. I noticed that I also begin to use more the Internet if I need to purchase this or that product. I don't know whether it is good or bad…
